David Meads: Chief of Development
I may not have been the first David on this Planet that works at iGlobal, but I was the first David at iGlobal on this Planet. I am the proud owner of this email -> david@iglobalstores.com. Yep, just a single name like MacGyver or Madonna, I am David.
There always needs to be someone behind the curtain pulling the strings, and at iGlobal I am not that person. I am more the person that makes the strings so that someone can pull them from behind the curtain. At iGlobal I direct development of software on the DeLorean team. The DeLorean team was named after that particular car because of the time machine in Back to the Future, not because of the defunct, bankrupt motor company founded by John DeLorean. Just like the DeLorean, I often set my cruise control at 88 mph on my frequent drive from SLC to SGU. I even wanted the team name to be 88 instead of DeLorean, but I got out voted. I like 88 because it fits the Back to the Future theme and any number divisible by 11 and less than 100 is one of my favorites, except 55. That number is the worst. I don’t even want to type it twice so I used the word that instead. In the end it is good our team is !Fish.
Besides coding up the tools to get people the most accurate shipping rates and landed cost estimates on the planet, I also provide iGlobal with a much needed mascot. Rudi has been working at iGlobal for the past three years and thoroughly loves his job. He makes sure that we keep new ping pong balls in cycle, and he brings a smile to most people’s faces.

One last thing-> That is my chair! ->
